In Hawaii, May 1st is known as Lei Day. It is a statewide celebration of the aloha spirit and the giving of a flower lei.
Many who are native Hawaiian or have lived here over the years know of the popular song - "May Day is Lei Day in Hawaii... garlands of flowers everywhere, all of the colors of the rainbow, maidens with blossoms in their hair." I grew up singing that song as a child and still till this day - when May 1st comes around, you can catch me singing it throughout the day.
In celebration of this popular Hawaii day - I wanted to create a May (Mei) Collection that reminded me of such. The May (Mei) Collection features beautiful hand-drawn illustrations and photography by Honey Kaho'ohanohano with a collection that includes the gorgeous and fragrant plumeria flower.
This month - I decided that I would put both the desktop and phone wallpapers together in one downloadable file so that you get the ease of use and checkout.
